JEANNETTE E. HALL

Jeannette E. Hall, 94, of Wooster, OH, formerly of Garrettsville, OH, went home to her Lord and Savior Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born May 24, 1929, in Cleveland, OH, to the late John E. and Edna M. (Algire) Wilson.

She was a graduate of Freedom Township High School. Jeannette was a lifetime member of the Garrettsville United Methodist Church and the Ravenna United Methodist Church. She spent many years involved with the Freedom Township Alumni Association, and worked for the Samuel Moore Company until her retirement. Jeannette was married to Leonard Marvin for over 53 years until his passing. While married to Leonard, they retired and traveled. Following Leonard’s death, Jeannette married her high school sweetheart, Arthur “Allan” Hall, and was married for over 17 years until Allan passed. When Jeannette reconnected with Allan, she was delighted to return to her farming roots. Jeannette loved having garage sales each year, allowing her to engage with the community. Her true enjoyment was to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Jeannette will be deeply missed by her sons, Thomas (Joy) Marvin, Bruce (Connie) Marvin, David (Beth) Marvin, and Dennis (Laura) Marvin; bonus son, Norman Hall; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Please join the family for a visitation Saturday, January 20, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Richard Thewlis officiating. Jeannette will then be taken to Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, OH, where she will be lovingly laid to rest with her first husband, Leonard.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staffs of Wayne County Hospice and West View Healthy Living; both facilities gave wonderful, caring support to Jeannette and her family.
