Jerald H. Humphries, age 82, of Medina, Ohio passed away on May 2, 2014. He was born on April 27, 1932 in Pool, West Virginia, to Olva E. and Lynna A. (nee Wood) Humphries.
He was a loving husband to his wife Ruth, father to; Jerry (Becky), Darwin (Lois), Rebecca (Murray) Fisher, brother to; Freda Hizer, Carl Humphries, Gay ( Hank) Tieman, Roy (Janette) Humphries, grandfather to; Jerame (fiance Laurie), Daniel, Holly, Jessica (Russell) Scalf, , great grandfather to; Jackson.
He worked at Ford Motors for thirty one years and served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Funeral service, Thursday May 8, 2014 at 11:00AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley Ohio.
