Service Details: Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:45 PM at the funeral home. Photo: Obituary: Jerry D. Stockman, 66 of Brunswick, passed away December 31, 2011 with his loving family by his side. Jerry was born March 28, 1945 to Alfred and Veronica (nee Baca) Stockman. Jerry is survived by his wife Joyce; children Edward (Beth), Christine (Travis) Sorenson, step-daughter Cindy (Roy) Tomas; brothers Thomas and Donald Stockman; sisters Dorothy Gierman and Donna Stockman; grandpa-to-be of Baby Girl Sorenson due in January and Baby Stockman due in July; grandpa to Josh, Jeremy and Jacob. Jerry retired from General Motors, Parma after 27 years. He was a member of UAW Local 1005 and was a lifetime member of VFW Post # 9520. He loved his family, traveling, trains, and gardening, especially cactus. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam. He was also a proud American who loved his country.
