JOAN ADELE CASTANO

Joan Castano, 77, beloved Mother, began rejoicing with Jesus on April 2, 2018. She was born May 23, 1940 in Richfield, OH, to Robert Lee Gunther and Norris (Carver) Gunther.

Joan was always full of joy and mischief. She enjoyed painting and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Richard) Preisendorfer; siblings, Mary Carter, Naomi Box, Ruby LaSalle, Robert Lee Gunther, Jr., Ross (Charlotte) Gunther, Samantha (Raymond) Hammond, Ethel Sigard, Janette Rossi, Nancy Schrecengost and Ronald (Lynn) Gunther.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 8, from 1-3 pm at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, at 10 am at Friendship Alliance Church, 19126 Ravenna Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Hiram, Ohio.
