City: Hinckley : Photo: Obituary: Joan Kirchner 74, of Hinckley passed away April 15, 2012. She joins her husband Patrick who passed away January 29, 2012. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Helen (nee Kennedy) Martikan. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking, and was a representative of Avon Products, making many friends along the way. She coached the Hinckley Crickets Softball team, and created beautiful wedding dresses for family and friends. Joan was a true collector of many “things”. Surviving her are son; Patrick A. (Karen), daughter, Mary Jo (Rex) Mann, son Neal A. (Katrina), daughter, Susan M. (Drew) Gerstner, former son-in-law, Frank Davis, grandchildren; Brookana (Matt), Makenze, Tyler, Clayton, Thomas, Matilda, Brian, Kallie, Mac, Christian, Samantha and great-grandchild, Landen. Preceding her in death, was her beloved husband, Patrick H. Kirchner her parents and brother William Martikan. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 1 to 5 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18) Medina, Ohio. Please meet at the church at 10 AM for 1 hr. prior Visitation to 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Grace Church 1088 Ridge Rd. Hinckley, Ohio.
