Joan P. Ozanich (nee Olesh), age 84, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Southwest Residential Hospice, Strongsville.
Born on November 25, 1934 in McClellandtown, PA to the late Mike and Mary (nee Suhar) Olesh.
Joan enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, playing bingo, traveling to the casinos, and absolutely loved the Cleveland Indians. She was very active at St. Ambrose and was a member of the St. Ambrose Women’s Guild.
Survived by her dear sons, Paul III (Marci) of Broadview Hts. And David (Carrie) of Cleveland; loving daughters, Cheryl (Don) McDade of Brunswick, and Laura (Brian) Sill of Parma; brothers, Mike Jr. dec. (Elizabeth-dec.), Joseph dec. (Valetta dec.) (Bernadine dec.) (Violet Hartman) and John (Loretta dec.) Olesh; loving sisters, Dolores dec. (Charles dec.) Martoncik and Marie (Rudolph dec.) Koposko; and cherished grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Adam, Tyler and Justin; and many great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Paul T. Ozanich, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 1-3 pm and 5-8 pm at the Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, (1/2 mile south of Route 303). Visitation will also be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Rev. Fr. Bob Stec, will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
