Joan Sue Rosato, 88, of Medina passed away peacefully on Saturday November 14, 2020. She was born on December 4, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary (Gammiere) Valentino.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, step-mother and grandmother. Joan enjoyed baking, especially for the holidays. Everyone loved her cream cream cookies, banana bars and amish tort. She liked to watch old movies, knit blankets, sew and cross stitch. Most important to her was the time she spent with her family and friends. Joan cherished that time. She also spoiled her “grand-dog” Princess.
Joan was employed at Manor Care in Mayfield Heights working as a nursing assistant. She was a Therapeutic Aide. She was also named Employee of the Year.
Joan will be deeply missed by her daughter, Nadine (Mark) White, grandchildren Jacob, Holly and Joshua. Step mother to Marylou (Larry) Caine and family; Bobby (Tina) Rosato and family; Cindy Rosato and family.
Preceded in death by her parents; her late husbands, Robert Rosato and Albert Pietrocola; son Albert Pietrocola; step son Mickey Rosato and grandson Tyler White.
Joan’s arrangements are private and were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Rte 18 & River Styx Road) Medina, Ohio 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church and Joan will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
