John George Bilko, age 75, of Brunswick, OH, passed away on October 14, 2013. He was the son of John and Mary (nee Braddish) Bilko. He was born on January 14, 1938 in Chestnut Ridge, Pennsylvania.
He was a loving brother who enjoyed spending time with his family.
He will be dearly missed by his sister, Kay (Edward) Maycrovich; brother, Paul (Patricia) Bilko; sister in law, Erma Bilko and many loving nieces and nephews.
John served in the Army as a U.S. Intelligence Officer stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. He was a member of the Eagles #3505/Moose/American Legion Post 20. John was an avid golfer who enjoyed sports, especially during the winter months which he spent in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Helen Patchan and Dorothy Rentrop, and brother, Bob.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Parastas to be held at 7:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Emilian Byzantine Catholic Church, 1231 Substation Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212, Father Marek will be officiating. Inurnment will be on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman Ohio. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY)
