JOHN A. DEMMA
December 8, 1943 — January 15, 2010
John A. Demma, 66, of Mantua, passed away on January 15, 2010 at Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland. He was born December 8, 1943 in Italy.
John was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and making wine. He was a great tinkerer, especially with electronics. He also loved playing with his cats.
John is survived by his; children, John Jr. (Renee) of Freedom, Julianne (Mark) Brann of Garrettsville and Alexander (Tiffany) of Oklahoma; brothers, Michael Demma of Parma and Mario Stellato of Italy; a sister, Alba of Italy and grandchildren, Catherine, Olivia, Daniel, Anthony, Ella and Henry; and his loving companion, Karen Christopher of Mantua.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Jenny Demma.
Visitation is 5-8 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Oh. 44231. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 10692 Freedom St., Garrettsville, Oh. 44231.
