John Diamond, age 84, of Brunswick, passed away on March 7, 2021. He was born in Cleveland on January 1, 1937, to the late John and Viola (nee Hollman) Diamond.
John retired as the Fire Chief from the Parma Heights Fire Dept after 33 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, boating, drag racing, and fishing. He was a great handyman and especially enjoyed time with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his dear children, Dennis Goodrich,Tracy Flanigan (Eric), Dan Goodrich, Sherry Diamond, Mark Diamond, Pam Diamond (Attila), and David (Giovanna) Diamond; grandchildren, Joey Leon, Kayla Hale (Trevor), Kevin Goodrich, Ethan Flanigan, Ryan Flanigan, Brianne Flanigan, Victoria Rickels, Danielle, Chloe Rickels, Erin Diamond, Katlyn Diamond, Marcus Diamond, Diana Congeni (Bob), Dominique Boesken (Dan), Kyle Cox, Gabrille Diamond, Danica Diamond, and David Diamond; 7 great grandchildren including Lillian Hale, and Judah Hale; brother, Patrick (Peggy) Diamond, as well as many loving family and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; son, Michael Diamond.
The family will receive friends for John on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at the Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (1/2 mile south of Route 303). Masks are required, and social distance guidelines will be followed.
