JOHN R. GALLER

John R. Galler 61 of Medina, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at his residence. He was born November 23, 1949 in Lakewood, Ohio to Stephen Galler and Marion (nee Vogt).
John enjoyed his 36 years of being a Railroad Conductor for the Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He shared his life and love with his wife and 6 children and 9 grandchildren, he was a very loving and generous man to all who were blessed enough to enter his life. He had a childlike fondness for trains that kept him young at heart. John was a member of UTU Local 792.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Aurea (nee Mendez), his children; Will Marrero (Roberta), Benny (wife Lisa) Soto, Ariel (wife Dr. Anita) Soto, Seto (wife Gina) Soto, grandchildren; Tony, Kimberly, Giovinni, Selina, Savannah, Alyssa, Nicholas, Jesse, Spenser and his brother Stephen Galler, sisters; Mary Boyce, Judy Dillin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim and Joe Galler, sons, Jose Marreo and John Kelly Mendez.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 1 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 9 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Visitation will also be prior at 9 AM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 to Funeral Service which will be held at 10 AM also at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Brookpark Road, Cleveland.
