JOHN JOSEPH JOSIE

John Joseph Josie, age 86, of Hinckley, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Pleasant Lake Villa, Cleveland. He was born on May 17, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Rosalie (nee Slavick) Josie.

He was a 1954 graduate of St. Ignatius Catholic Jesuit High School, and he served in the United States Army. John was employed as a salesman and in the remodeling business until his retirement.

John is survived by his loving daughter, Jolene Josie; dear son, Jason Josie; brother, Rick Josie; step-mother, Lillian Josie; daughters-in-law, Stacey Josie and Leigh Josie; cherished grandchildren, Kate Josie and Andrew Stocker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene (nee Selan) Josie; and sister, Lauri Slavick.

The family will receive friends for John on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10:00 am until noon at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Route 303), Brunswick. Masks are required and social distancing rules will apply. Burial in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland will follow with military honors.
