JOHN MATUSKA

John Anthony Matuska, age 66, of Hinckley, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Alvin and Mary (nee McLoughlin) Matuska.

John was an American Coaster Enthusiast (A.C.E.) and a member of “The Grasshoppers” who are listed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was an avid musician and artist, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, an Eagle Scout, and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati.

John will be dearly missed by his mother, Mary; children, Robyn (Jeremiah) Blueter, Michael J. and Erynn; brother, Michael C. (Diane); grandchildren, Cassidy, Lucas, Dylan and Mason; nephews, Christopher (Lori) and Robert; and great niece and nephew, Chloe and Evan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin.
