JOHN ALLEN SOCHINSKY

John Allen Sochinsky, age 81, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023. He was born on July 5, 1941, to the late John and Eleanor (nee Szalak) Sochinsky in Cleveland.

He enjoyed nature and fishing. Al loved traveling all 50 states and going on cruises with his wife of 58 years, Barbara. His biggest pride was his family, spending what time he could with them meant the world to him.

Al will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Barbara; children Donna (Douglas) Kleinhenz and Mark Sochinsky; grandchildren, Megan Kleinhenz, Mason Kleinhenz, Matthew Sochinsky, and Ava Sochinsky; and a beloved uncle.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Sochinsky; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Sochinsky.

Please join the family for visitation on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 am.
