John J. Volk, 87, of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014. He was born May 11, 1926 to John A. and Anna Volk in Windber, PA.
Mr. Volk was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during WWII. He retired from Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his beloved wife Helen; loving children Joseph, Carole (Howard), Diane, Irene (Brian), Susan; cherished grandchildren Juliet, Natalie, Amanda (Phillip), Jenna (Keith), Amy, Joe (Suzanne), Megan (Seth), Kimberlee (Justin), Tim (Meagan), Ben (Lauren), Collin, (Alyson), Jordan; and his 11 adored great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Margaret. (Charles).
He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Rt 303), Brunswick, Ohio. 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 31, 2014 at St. Colette's Parish Church 330 W. 130th St. Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Fr. William Krizner officiating. (Please meet at the Church). Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
