JOSEPH G. CARPENTER

Joseph G. Carpenter, age 80, of Brunswick, passed away November 26, 2017. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 36 years, Christine (nee Kaczmarczyk) Carpenter. He will also be missed by his cherished dog, Molly.
He was born October 13, 1937 in Orma, West Virginia. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 407. Joe enjoyed travelling, taking cruises, and visiting beaches throughout the United States and Caribbean. He was an avid fan of the Indians, Browns, and Buckeyes.
He is also survived by his son, Gary; siblings, Eva Mae (Lorrin- deceased) Hosey; Joshia – deceased (Lois); Muriel McCormick – deceased (Walter); Harry (Sharon); Gail (Carol); Jack (Mary); many nieces and nephews; and dearly devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Greeley and Marie (nee Brannon) Carpenter; and his son, Joseph.
Friends may join the family for visitation Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 pm. Fellowship will follow services in the Carlson Community Room.
