TOGETHER AGAIN JOSEPH AND EVELYN Photo: Obituary: Joseph C. Farnsworth 91, resident of Sharon Township, passed away on January 10 , 2013 at the Magnolia Village Retirement Community in Wadsworth, Ohio. He was born in Sharon Township on September 16, 1921 to Walter and Mollie (nee Miller) Farnsworth. Joseph served in the United States Army. He and Evelyn A. (nee Raw) were married on March 23, 1946 and worked along-side each other on their Dairy Farm. Hard work and their love of family made their 1000 acre farm the biggest dairy producers in Sharon Township. Mr. Farnsworth was a former Board Member of the Medina County Farm Bureau and Board of Akron Pure Milk. Surviving him are his family who will cherish his love and memory, children; Linda (Robert) Spring, Judy (Tim) Wolf, Dan C. Farnsworth, Thomas (Jennifer) Farnsworth, his grandchildren, Kris, Kate, Kathy, Rob, Craig, Jen, Brian, Erin, Chance, Brittany, Joseph, and Amanda, Mathew, Marcus Kyle, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, his beloved wife Evelyn on September 26, 2012, siblings; Nina A. Roshon, Anna Hazen, Carrie Hatch, Lucille Emerson, Walter Jr., Kenneth and Marvin J. and his daughter-in-law Pat. The family invites friends for Visitation on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM and 1 hr. prior to Funeral Service 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Funeral service at 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Rd. (Rt. 18 and River Styx Rd) Medina, Ohio, Rev. Mollie G. Brown officiating. Burial to follow in Sharon Township Cemetery.
