JOSEPH KNAPPER

Joseph Knapper, age 80, of Brunswick, passed away at home on Sunday, April 3, 2022, after fighting various hard health battles over the past five years. He was born on March 12, 1942, in Cleveland to the late Joseph and Loretta (nee Frederick) Knapper.

He worked as a pipefitter for 22 years. Joseph enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards in his younger years. He avidly watched his soap, Days of Our Lives, never missing a show. Joseph loved spending time with his family.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Diana; dearest children, Michelle (Stephen) O'Neal, Trisha (Lisa) Knapper, Joseph (Mary) Knapper III, and Stephen Knapper; loving grandchildren, Gabrielle O'Neal, Zachary Knapper, Maria Lemerise, Nicole (Timothy) Weiss, and Tiffany Knapper; and beloved great grandson, Joseph Knapper IV.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded by his brother, William; and his fur-baby "Bella".

Please join the family for visitation on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. On Saturday, April 9, 2022, visitation will be held at 9:00 am prior to funeral service will be given by Reverend Laura Young at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 2869 Grafton Rd, Brunswick, at 11:00 am. THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED THAT MASKS BE WORN.
