JOSEPH WILLIAM KONECNY, JR.

Joseph William Konecny Jr, 74, of Berea, passed away peacefully Friday, Mar. 8, 2024, with his loving wife by his side.

Joe is survived by his devoted wife Lynn; children, Joseph (Stephanie) Konecny, Robert (Anne) Konecny, Michelle (Wendy) Konecny, David (Jennifer) Konecny, Sarah (Michael) Schetz, Michael (Tory) Konecny and Amanda (Jeremy) Westgate; grandchildren, Alex (Kortney) Trace and Rachel (Chris) Gillis, Danny Konecny, Aria Westgate, Adam, Britney and Natalie Schetz, and Michael and Betsy Konecny; two great-grandchildren; and his sisters Mary Ann (Bob) Malloy and Deborah (Steve) Leposa. He is also survived by his stepdaughters Laura and Anne Wimberly; and grandchildren Javier, Anita and Shawn.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Albina (nee Magdalence) Konecny and his wife Francine (nee Krall).

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:30 A.M. with VISITATION from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at St. Mary, 250 KRAFT STREET, Berea with Fr. John officiating. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City where Joseph will be laid to rest. Care for Joe was entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes, Brunswick.
