JOSEPH JOHN LEGGER

Joseph John Legger (aka Leggiero), age 82, of Brunswick, passed away September 28, 2015. He was born October 22, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Rose (nee Masielli) Legger.

Joseph dearly loved his family and was the best father and grandfather in the world who enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports along with telephone chats about their daily activities. He retired as an engineering manager at Firestone after 38 years and was a member of the Engineering Society. Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a devout Tribe fan and loved all local sports.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Marilyn (nee Rini); children, David (Sharon), Neal (Melissa), Gregory; brother, Donald (Patricia) Leggiero; grandchildren, Brian, Justin, Nick, Brittany, and Joseph.

Joseph was preceded in death by his siblings, John and Irene.

Friends may join the family for visitation Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
