Joseph Albert Marquette, age 85, of Broadview Heights, passed away on the 1st day of November 2019. He was born on September 19, 1934, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Robert and Hazel (nee Marlow) Marquette.
Joe was a Past President of the Cleveland Heights Gyro Club, and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid tennis player and golfer. He also enjoyed cussing.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Norma (nee Haugh) of 60 years; daughters, Jean (Barry) Zielke, Christine (Dale) Cox, Tamara Hubbard; siblings, Robert Jr. (Betty), Gertrude (John) Calvert; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike), Matthew (Julie), Eric Jr., Trevor (Anastasia), Tori; great-grandchildren, D’Angelo, Daniel, Vanessa, Johnny, and Dale.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl, and granddaughter, Heather.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Medina, OH.
