Joseph John Puchalski, 88 of Brunswick, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 in Brunswick, Ohio. He was born June 21, 1922 in Cleveland to Stanley and Mary (nee Bernaski) Puchalski.
He was a United States Marine Veteran serving in World War II and receiving a purple heart. He was a retired press operator, a member of The Knights of Columbus, an avid golfer, bowler and enjoyed going to casinos.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Angela (nee Principe) Puchalski.
He is survived by his sisters Rose and Anna; his brother Walter and was a Special Uncle, Great Uncle and Great Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Mary (nee Bernaski) Puchalski; siblings Edward, John, Stanley, Mary, Josephine and Kasimar.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Morning visitation will be held on Thursday July 15, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. then proceeding to Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Collette’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
