JOSEPH F. SOBEHART

Joseph F. Sobehart, age 98, of Brunswick, passed away on December 30, 2016. He was born on November 12, 1918 in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Antone and Anna (nee Veverka) Sobehart. He was married to the love of his life, Theresa (nee Ehrmentrout) Sobehart, for 18 years.
Joseph worked as a private contractor for many years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 9520, Medina County Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and Amvets. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, and most of all, his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife, Theresa.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Merril (Yon) Ehrmentrout, Bobbie (Tony) Leone, Robert (Brenda) Ehrmentrout, Diana (Gary) Warren; and nine grandchildren, Robert (Michele), Jessica, Nathan, Stephannia, Samanntha, Serenna, Jeremiah, Savanna, and Sydnnie; loving uncle to many Pennsylvania nieces and nephews.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 6–8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 1 PM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 12 PM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.
