Joseph D. Szabo, 79 of Medina Township, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Szabo served his country during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army and was employed with CEI/First Energy for over 30 years. He loved animals, his cat Gypsy, going to flea markets, crafts and hunting.
Joe is survived by his children; Diane (husband Raymond) Holmes, Joseph D. Szabo Jr., Pamela (husband Bruno) Mandalari, Jill (husband David) Eaken, Jodi (husband Gregg) Cook, grandchildren; Derek Roberts, Joey (wife Christine) Szabo, Dustin Eaken, Cody Eaken, Dominick Mandalari, Stephanie Mandalari, Ryan Cook and Kylie Cook.
Preceding him in death was his wife Patricia Ann and his parents and siblings. Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick.
