Joseph Vincek, age 73, of Brunswick passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Medina Hospital.
He was born on November 23, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank and Sylvia (nee Ventura) Vincek. Joseph had been a resident of Brunswick since 1975.
Joseph was a Jack of All Trades but enjoyed his time as a Firearms Training Instructor the most.
In his spare time, he loved his motorcycles and riding with his wife and friends alike. He refurbished and repaired so many bikes of all makes and models in “Joe’s Toy Box”. His toy box was always open to friends for shots and a beer along with conversations from A to Z. Joe’s personality made him special in so many ways to each and every individual he met, but he truly lived for his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Dawn (nee Pauly); dear son, Frank J. Vincek; loving sisters, Darlene (Richard) Zembala, Nanette (Ronald) Rock; cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Lauren; and former daughter-in-law, Pamela Vincek; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Remon) Kaldas, Kristen (Aaron) Osysko, Veronica (Jensen) Painter, Robert (Renee) Zembala, James Zembala. He will also be dearly missed by Dawn’s entire Family.
Contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army of Medina County, 425 W. Liberty Street, Medina or to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.
The Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick were entrusted to handle the arrangements.
