Joseph Kenneth Zevchek, age 62 of Brunswick, OH passed away at his home surrounded by his family on October 23, 2020. He was born at Lakewood, OH on February 21, 1958.
Joseph was a proud veteran of the Army and graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in physics, working over 30 years as a test engineer for Reliance Electric, Rockwell Automation, Baldor Electric, and finished his career as a contractor with Safran Electrical & Power. Joseph loved his poetry, music, wood working, beer and cigars. He loved his Mittwoch get-togethers, taking his convertible to Carlisle every year, and sitting on the patio listening to Led Zeppelin on any day of the week.
He is survived by Anne Zevchek, his 6 children Joseph, Kathryn (Todd Miller), Michael (Brittany Morgan), Christopher, Patrick, and Angela (Owen Horter), 2 grandchildren Robert and Timothy Miller, brother Lenny (Julie), sister Margie (John) Mirrotto, step-mother Ellie, and so many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and brother-in-law and best friend, Tom Metzger.
The family will receive friends for visitation for Joseph, Thursday, October 29th from 5pm-8pm and Friday, October 30th from 1pm-3pm and 5pm-8pm at Carlson Funeral Home 1642 Pearl Rd. Brunswick, OH.
Funeral services will be held on November 3, 2020 at 11;00 am In the Carlson Funeral Home at Brunswick with burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery to follow.
