Josephine A. Dudley 73, of Medina passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Akron General Hospital. Josephine was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 19, 1936 to Andrew G. and Anna (nee Makovic) Futty.
She retired from Sears. Her first priority was her children and all of her family. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas and creating crafts and activities for her grandchildren.
Josephine leaves behind her children Denise (husband Mark) Marabito, Jean Richmond, Jackie (husband Jeffrey) Lucas and Ken (wife Kim) Dudley; grandchildren Amanda, Julie, Kellsie, Tony, Derek, Lauren, and Brad; great-grandchild Aubree and her siblings Walter Futty, Mary Madzelonka and Audrey Joyce.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Richard, and first born daughter, Renee; and her siblings Andrew, Willie, Bernie and Patsy.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10 AM, January 8, 2010 at St. Francis Xavier Church 606 E. Washington St. Medina, Ohio. Fr. Bob Lorkowski officiating. Burial to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, Avon, Ohio.
