JOSEPHINE PUMPA

Josephine (JR) Pumpa, (nee Modra) age 95, of Medina, Mayfield Hts., and Lakeland Florida, passed away at the Avenue at Medina on Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born on January 26,1922 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Joseph and Amelia (nee Maceyka) Modra. She enjoyed golf, her retirement living in Florida and spending time with her family.

She was the loving mother of Terry Praschan (Dan, son-in-law) and grandmother of Ryan Praschan (Andrea, granddaughter-in-law). Also, survived by her brother, Henry Modra. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George, and brothers, Joseph and Frank.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Road), Medina, OH 44256. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
