JOYCE MARKO

Joyce Marko (nee Pavlus), age 67, passed away on June 20, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born to George and Anna (nee Duna) Pavlus on June 11, 1946 in Lakewood, OH. Joyce enjoyed travel, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a Sales Associate in the jewelry department at Macy’s for 17 years. She will be missed dearly by her beloved husband of 42 years, Robert; daughters Karin Marko (partner, Michael Schira) of Brunswick, OH, and Kathryn (Jason) Withrow of Dexter, MI; grandchildren Tyler, Alixandra, Anna, Sophia, and Maya; brother Robert (Elizabeth, deceased) Pavlus of North Olmsted, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved son, James Robert Marko, II. Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 24, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH, with a visitation one hour prior (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 6303 Center Road, Valley City, OH. A Luncheon will be held at the Church following burial.
