JUAN GONZALEZ-RIVERA

Juan Gonzalez-Rivera, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Cleveland Metro Hospital. He was born on December 27, 1927 in Puerto Rico to the late Juan Rivera and Martina Gonzalez.

Juan proudly served as a Sargeant in the US Army during the Korean War Conflict from 1950-1957.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 46 years, Aida L. Hernandez; children, Antonio Gonzalez, Zulma Gonzalez, Rafael Gonzalez, Heida Luz (Jose) Gonzalez, Heide Maria (Eric) Gonzalez and Humberto Hernandez; sister, Julia Gonzalez; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Friends may join the family for visitation for Juan on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 1:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (one ½ mile south of Rt #303 and Pearl Road on the west side of the road). Facial coverings are required. Please observe recommended social distancing guidelines. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 7, 2020 at the funeral home. Rev. Jose Cruz will officiate. Interment will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
