JUDITH MCKNIGHT

Judith L. McKnight was received by her Lord with open arms on Thursday, February 22, 2024, while at Hospice of The Western Reserve, Medina, Ohio.

Judith was born August 9, 1938, in Berea, Ohio, to the late Donald and Rhea Beeler.  She enjoyed working with flowers along with spending time on her computer, sewing, needlepoint, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, reading, and going to the library.  Her biggest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Judith was a longtime member of Chippewa Church at the Lake United Methodist, a member of the Grandmother’s Club and the Red Hat Society.   She looked forward to her Berea Class Reunion and United Airlines Retiree luncheons each month.  Judith was very involved with the Parkinson’s Foundation and their support group.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry McKnight and brother, Richard Beeler.  Judith is survived by her children, Rick (Debbie) Baechle of Brunswick, Renee (Richard) Ellis of TX, Rhonda (W. Michael) Arnold of Medina, Sarah McKnight of New Jersey, and Mark (Juanita) McKnight of TX,   grandchildren, Christina (Ryan) Gardner, Jennifer (Tom) Cieker, Danielle (Paul) Baxter, Stephanie (Ryan) Kaetzel, Mark and Nina McKnight, Charlotte and Finnegan McKnight, great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Claire, and Sydney Gardner, Brielle, Tommy and Kaisley Cieker, Colton Baxter, Ella and Ethan Kaetzel, sister-in-law, Debbie Beeler, nieces Kim (Jim) Fischer, and Lori (Andy) Reis.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd, Medina, Ohio, 44256, from 2pm to 5pm and on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 11am to 12pm with services to follow at 12pm.  Burial will follow at 2:45pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Parkinson’s Foundation at  https://www.parkinson.org.
