JUDY A. BURDEN

Judy A. Burden, (nee Nestor), age 76, of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Plum Creek Assisted Living, Brunswick. She was born on September 23, 1944 in Kingwood, WVA, to the late Claudius L. and Catherine R. (nee Bohon) Nestor.

Judy was a member of the Lantana Road Baptist Church, in Crossville, TN. She enjoyed playing bingo, yahtzee and cooking. She loved her time spent with family and friends. Her truest passion in life was loving her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her dear children, Julie Salzman, Jodi Titchenell (Herson), Wayne Burden, Tim Titchenell (Wendy) and Brad Titchenell (Evelyn); cherished grandchildren, Samantha Boneta (Frisco), Brittany Cruz , Olivia Herbert (Adam), Logan Salzman, Kayden Draiss, Danielle Akers, Kylie O’Connor (Kevin) and Austin Burden; great grandchildren, Eli, James, Dakota, Kellan and Krissalie; siblings, June (Jim) Turner, Shirley Nickerson, and Rick (Donna) Nestor.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years, Earnest Burden, Jr. on November 20, 2019; grandson, Kody Salzman; daughter, Patty Akers; and siblings, Howard Ray and Pete Nestor.

Friends may join the family for visitation for Judy on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 5-7 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (one ½ mile south of Rt #303 and Pearl Road on the west side of the road). Facial coverings are required. Please observe recommended social distancing guidelines. A private inurnment will be held at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley.
