JULIA A. DITTY

Julia “Julie” A. Ditty (nee Szucs), age 77, of Medina, passed away on December 31, 2019. She was born on June 23, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Alex and Ethel (nee Vargo) Szucs.

Julie worked for the East Ohio Gas Company for over 10 years. She enjoyed organizing picnics and social gatherings, spending time with family and friends, creating arts and crafts and working in the yard. Julia was also a longtime member of the Walton Hills Church of Christ.

She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 52 years, Norman Ditty, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Szucs (Jean) and Richard Szucs (Linda, surviving).

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, January 5, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Funeral Service will be held for Julia on Monday, January 6, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to Service. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
