Karen M. Foy, 80, of Garrettsville, OH, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born in Springfield, OH, on December 27, 1941, to the late Phillip and Gladys (nee Callison) Leonard.
She was a graduate of Sharon High School and Wilma Beauty School. Karen worked 26 years at General Motors in Lordstown, OH, where she retired as an Inspector. She felt one of her greatest accomplishments in life was teaching Sunday School; however, being a mother and a grandmother brought Karen pride, joy, and peace.
Karen will be deeply missed by her loving children, Cynthia (Kenneth) Barker of Sharon, PA, Jennifer (Cliff Robinson) Vanditta of Howland, OH, Aaron Foy of Howland, OH, and Brett (Shawna) Foy of Garrettsville, OH; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved daughter, Jahna Sheets, and siblings, Judith Leonard, Kenneth Leonard, Betty Waldron, Jackie Leonard, Glendora Wessick, Peggy Leonard, and Carol Leonard.
Per Karen's wishes, she is to be cremated. She will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon, PA, with a private graveside service. Services for Karen were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231.
