Karen Rose Gallatin, 74, of Middlefield, OH, went home to her Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 20, 2024. She was born July 14, 1950, in Chardon, OH, to the late William and Elizabeth (nee Willis) Hartman.
She was raised in Middlefield, OH, and was a proud graduate of Cardinal High School. Karen worked at Geauga Industries for many years, then moved on to work for the Cardinal School system, where she retired. Karen never missed a Geauga County fair, and had a fondness for cookouts, bonfires, and camping. She was a wonderful, caring person who help anyone in need, and loved spending time with her partner-in-crime, family, friends, and her furry sidekick, Neil.
Karen will be deeply missed by her loving son, Erik (Krissy) Hartman; significant other, Ron Quiggle; Ron’s grandchildren, whom Karen loved as her own, Savannah (Camden) Wardell and Maverick Quiggle; great grandchildren, Sullivan and Cayden; sisters, Joyce (Andrew) Hopper and Linda Hartman; nieces and nephews, Amy Loza, Ivan (Sharon) Krupansky, Phillip Krupansky, and Brenda (Jim) Bracken; best friend, Terri (Jr. Sedivy) Brown; dear friend, Margie, and many more extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billie Gallatin, Jr., and nephew, Tommy Brigham.
Please join the family for a visitation Monday, November 25, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Karen will then be taken to Overlook Cemetery in Parkman Twp., OH, where she will be lovingly laid to rest.
