Karla L. Thurber, age 48, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on March 27, 2015. She was born on June 24, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Karla was an avid gardener and enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping and fishing. Karla loved spending time with her family.
She will be dearly missed by her father, Karlon “Butch” Parsons; mother, Linda (Michael) Deamon (nee Greene); beloved husband, William; son, Jeremy Gibson; daughter, Rachel Gibson; sisters, Brenda (Robert) Garrison and Renee Levasseur; brothers, Karlon Parsons and Michael Levasseur; mother-in-law, Joyce Thurber; brothers-in-law, Steven and Tony; sister-in-law, Patricia; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step mother, Sharon Levasseur and father-in-law, William Thurber, Sr.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, Ohio.
