KATENA MARIE DORSEY

Katena "Tena" Marie Dorsey (née Cangelosi), age 75, of North Royalton, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, with her family at her side. She was born on April 22, 1946, at Cleveland to Jerry P. and Edith R. (née Richuisa) Cangelosi.

Tena loved her family and friends dearly. She loved to entertain and spent tireless hours planning, and cooking for her family and guests. She was always ahead of the trends in home design and decorated her house for the seasons. She took enormous pride in her home and her extensive book collection. Tena enjoyed Pavarotti, Bocelli, and classic movies. Gardening and sewing were also two of her passions. Tena and her family shared 39 annual family Outer Banks vacations, enjoying precious seashore
memories. Tena worked as the Registrar at Padua Franciscan High School until her retirement. She was a member of St. Colette Catholic Church and began a Gardening Club at Greenbriar at River Valley.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Timothy; her children, Angela Bosko (Steve), Steven Dorsey (Daniela), Tyler Dorsey (Annie), and Stephanie Wagoner (Mike); her grandchildren, Dominic, Gianna, Miranda, Maire, Grant, Ellie, and Jonathan. She is survived by her siblings, Louis Cangelosi (Dolores), Virginia Folisi (Russell), and Anthony Cangelosi (Mary).

Katena was preceded in death by her parents and members of her extended family.

Friends may join the family for visitation for Katena on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 2 PM until 4 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM, at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick, Ohio. Katena's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 West 130th St., Brunswick Ohio. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Valley City, Ohio.
