KATHLEEN MARY BERISH

Kathleen M. Berish (nee Steadley), age 73, of Garrettsville, passed away surrounded by her loving family as her daughter sang “Amazing Grace” on October 9, 2019. She was born on October 18, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frederick “Dana” and Lucia (nee Cermak) Steadley.

Kathy enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, golfing, horseback riding and above all her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was extremely charitable and gave to multiple organizations.

Kathy will be deeply missed by her loving children, David Berish, Dana Eggert and Dee (Dean) Synnestvedt; grandchildren Nicholas (Sarah) Iacovone, Chelsea Stanish, Samantha (Eric) Sever, Courtney Berish, Kayla Matthews, Noah Eggert; and great grandchild Brayden, Dominic, Zane, Eric; beloved sister Dana (Jonas) Hostettler;.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband David, with whom she was blessed to share 41 years of marriage; son Kyle and daughter Davidia “Dee” Stanish.

Visitation for Kathy will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 8382 Center Road, Garrettsville, OH 44231. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11 AM at St Ambrose Catholic Church, 10692 Freedom Street, Garrettsville, Ohio with Father Ed Stafford officiating. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers donations would be graciously accepted in Kathy’s name to either St. Judes Childrens Hospital or Nelson-Garrettsville Community Cupboard P.O. Box 294 Garrettsville, OH 44231.
