Kathleen M. Pelot, age 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. John Westshore, Westlake.
She was born on August 31, 1933 in Bath, Ohio to the late Merle and Thelma (Phillips) Pelot. Kathleen was employed for 24 years at Ford Motor Company as an assembler. She was also a member of the U.A.W. 1250.
Kathleen was a hard worker and had a big heart, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, country music, was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, and especially enjoyed her family.
She is survived by her loving son, Ronald (Tammy) Pelot; dear grandchildren, Marie, Jeremy (Lakin), Megan and Austin; cherished great grandchildren; Ashley, Jackie, Gwendolynn, Zackory and Sienna; great great grandson Koda; brothers, Harry (Bernice) Pelot, Bobby Pelot, David (Barbara) Pelot; beloved sisters, Patsy Williamson, Doris Bright, Anita (Joe) Gyrko, Barbara (David) Fulcher and Betty Study.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy and sister- in -law Shirley Pelot; sister, Shirley Coughlin; brother- in -laws, John Coughlin, Ed Williamson and Wayne Study.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 5-8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, (1/2 mile south of Route 303). A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Granger Cemetery, Granger Township, Ohio.
