Kathleen “Kay” Westphal, age 67, of Wooster, OH, formerly of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on October 8, 2013. She was born to Marcus E. Huffman and Coletta (nee Faux) on February 12, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was a loving wife and mother who will be missed by her adoring husband of almost 50 years Norman; her sons; Craig (Miho - fiancé) both of Okinawa, Japan, Marcus E. of Brunswick, daughter; Kelly (Tim) Ruby of Wooster, sister; Barbara (Dan) Kilpatrick of Brookpark, grandchildren; Geoff (Jan), Holly, Jessica, Joey, Justin, Lea, Caitlin, Madison, great grandchildren; Easton and Anthony.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bernice.
Kathleen was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed monthly trips and meetings. She also enjoyed quilting, learning on her iPad and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 9:30 AM with a viewing at 8:30 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44142.
