Keith E. Steinman, age 77, of Brunswick, passed away April 1, 2017. He was born June 23, 1939 in Wheeling, WV, to the late Edward and Beryl (nee Fredrick) Steinman.
Keith graduated from Martins Ferry High School in 1957 and later from Ohio University in 1961. He married the loved of his life, Sue, in 1962. Keith proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1963 to 1969. He was employed at J & L Steel and Sunoco. He retired from GM Buick Division after 32 years as a district sales manager. Keith was a member of the Brunswick American Legion Post 234; where he was a past commander, served with the honor guard, and participated in 3 Cleveland honor guard flights. He was a member of the Living Word Lutheran Church in Medina. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid Gold Wing enthusiast. He loved animals, especially cats.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sue (nee Burkle); loving daughters, Barbara Grega, Jacqueline (Chuck) Billings; cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Megan, Forrest; dear sister, Pamela Cook; nephews, Kent, Ryan; and many friends and veteran comrades.
Keith was preceded in death by his sister, Judith.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm. Inurnment will take place on a later date.
