KELLY SHANNON HIGGINS

Kelly Shannon Higgins, age 34, of Medina, passed away on February 25, 2020. She was born on January 19, 1986, in Portsmouth, VA, to Thomas and Kathleen (nee Lavelle) Higgins.

Kelly was larger than life in all things. She was the girl with the beautiful smile and boisterous laugh that will be remembered as the daughter, fiancé, sister, niece, cousin and friend that everyone could always count on - no matter the day or the hour. Kelly could make your day with her quick wit and hilarious impressions. All of that, she is taking to heaven.

She will be dearly missed by her loving parents; cherished brothers, Tom, Tim; her fiancé, Frankie Sanchez; her “baby” for 14 years, Lola; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Everyone that knew and loved her was the better for it. We will all now have to figure out how to go on without this beautiful girl.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, March 1, 2020, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass will be held for Kelly on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1088 Ridge Rd Hinckley, OH. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). A Graveside Service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park. Kelly would have wanted any contributions to go to the animal shelter of your choice. She loved animals, and they loved her.
