KENNETH BROWN

Kenneth Brown Sr., age 85, resident of Medina, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born in Smoke Run, Pennsylvania on July 5, 1936, to James and Beatrice (nee Greenland) Brown. Ken married Vera "Jackie" Wells on September 21, 1957. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed courage in facing life challenges with a strong faith and a smile.

Ken worked at Ford Motor Company 35 years and was a UAW 1250 member in Brookpark. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Ken. He loved spending time sharing stories with family and friends and his pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met.

Ken will be dearly missed by his children, Kenneth (Dottie) Brown) Jr, Kathy (Rich) Deszcz, Dorothy Brown, Sharon Brown, grandchildren Kenneth (Amanda) Brown III, Bryan (Yiling) Brown, Christopher (Danielle) Brown; great grandchildren Kenneth Brown IV and Kiera Brown; sister Judith Beard.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jackie; son, Baby Boy Brown; sisters, Beatrice Higgins and Remina Redman; brothers, James and Garry.

Friends may join the family for visitation for Ken on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, (corner of River Styx and Route 18), Medina Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 20 at the Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Park Cemetery, 22025 Detroit Road, Rocky River, Ohio.
