KENNETH RAY JANECEK

Kenneth Ray Janecek, 70, of Freedom Township, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 in Ravenna, Ohio. He was born July 1, 1949 in Ravenna, Ohio to Frank and Mazella (Meyer) Janecek, Jr.
He owned and operated Nelson Ledges Archery alongside his loving wife Linda for 25 years. Ken was a member of Mosquito Bowman Conservation League. He loved the outdoors, archery, boating, hunting and fishing. Ken had worked as a Millwright for Harbison Walker for 35 years. What he loved most was spending time with his family and friends.
Ken will be deeply missed by his loving wife Linda with whom he was blessed to spend 51 years of marriage; children Jonathan, Tammy (Jeff) Seiger; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Haley and Jayme; siblings, Col. Frank (Pat) of Alabama, Dr. Lynne (Harry) Haverkos of Maryland and Jan (Ken) Okeson of South Russell and sister-in-law Fran Bailey-McMahan.
A Memorial Service to honor Kens life will be held on Saturday July 11, 2020, 2:00 PM at Nelson Ledges Archery 9851 St. Route 305 Garrettsville, OH 44231. Arrangements for Ken were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231.
