KENNETH "KENNY" J. MACNELLIS

Kenneth “Kenny” J. MacNellis, age 64 of Brunswick, passed away on June 18, 2024.

Kenny was born on May 28, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio to Jack and Gayle (Witt) MacNellis. He graduated from Brunswick High School. Kenny loved cars but was partial to VW’s and loved the VW car scene. He enjoyed photographing cars and helping others customize their import cars. Kenny and his car were very recognized locally and out of state at many car shows. Kenny was always willing to help and was a loyal and good friend. It was never too hot out for Kenny. He loved the summer months. He was a proud US Navy Veteran. Kenny was a cancer warrior and fought for 5 years. He worked at Swagelok for 35 years, where he started as an apprentice and worked to become a Production Supervisor. 

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Kenny will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 39 ½ years, Yoshiko, and sister, Lori (Ken) Wojtonek. He also leaves behind many close friends in his car community. 

Friends and family may come to call on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A military honor’s service will take place at 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenny’s name to the American Cancer Society.
