KENNETH EDWARD MILLER SR.
July 1, 1927 — August 14, 2014
Kenneth Edward Miller Sr., age 87, of West Salem, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on August 14, 2014. He was born on July 1, 1927 in Sugarcreek, Ohio to Aaron J. and Fannie (nee Gerber) Miller.
Kenneth was employed as a computer technician at IBM for 32 years. He proudly served his country in The United States Army. Kenneth also served as a Precinct Committee Member for the Republican Party.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Bernadine “Bernie” (nee Gardner); children, Mark (Beth), Shelley Undicelli, Scott, Susan (Vince) Safarik, Kenneth Jr.; grandchildren, Mark (Amanda) Miller, Tiffany (Ryan) Gween, Andrew Undicelli, Vincent Safarik, Victoria (Heath) Bowman, Justin and Rebecca Miller; great grandchildren, Bryce Gween, Ava and Mia Undicelli, William Bowman and sister Janice Strong.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanley and Arden; sisters, Iva Miller, Goldie Steward, Mabel McDaniel and Gladys Schrock.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 & River Styx Rd.), Medina, Ohio 44256.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to True Freedom Ministries, P.O. Box 235, Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
