Kenneth Ray Young, 82, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was born on October 10, 1938, in Sutton, West Virginia, to the late Maisel and Ray Young. Ken was married to Edith Young for 62 years, up until her death in January of last year.
Ken was a realtor and builder of homes for over 40 years. The offices of Ken Young Realty were prominently located in the historic building at the intersection of 303 and 42 for many years, and if you were a resident of Brunswick during that time there is a pretty good chance you’ve seen his signs. He assisted hundreds of families in finding just the right home and became friends with so many wonderful people in Medina County.
Ken will be missed by his loving children, Vicki (Timothy) Cooper and Jeffrey (Margaret) Young; grandchildren, Kyle Young, Sarah (Mario) Hernandez, Alesci (Scott) Hawkins, Amber Cooper, Barry Cooper, Sarah Cooper, and Elise Cooper; great-grandchildren, Mason Hawkins, Madelynn Hawkins, Lillian Cooper, Bennett Cooper, and Eleanora Cooper.
A private family service will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick.
Contributions may be made in Kenneth’s memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
