LARRY E. ROACH

Larry E. Roach, 77, of Garrettsville, OH, went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was born March 7, 1947, in Richwood, WV, to the late Lowell “Woody” and Zoma (nee Caldwell) Roach.  

He was a proud graduate of James A. Garfield High School, belonging to the class of 1965. Larry was an avid fan of sports, especially if it was Garrettsville sports. “Coach Roach” assisted with coaching many years, at all levels, with basketball, baseball, and softball. He would often be seen zipping through town on his scooter or his golf cart. Larry enjoyed riddles, magic tricks, playing pool and sports with his children and grandchildren; the time spent with them were his most treasured, and will always be his family’s favorite legacy.  

Larry will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Janice (nee Shahan) Roach, with whom he was blessed to share over 46 years of marriage; children, Kelly (Ryan) Snyder, Megan (Brian) Koval, Marcus Roach, and Ali Roach; grandchildren, Derek and Laney Snyder, Dominic Koval, Tenley, Acie, and Braylee Korosec; sister, Anne (Pastor Jody) Hill; sister-in-law, Ellen Roach, and multiple nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Roach.
