Photo: Obituary: Laura “Jane” Balass (nee Meador) passed away November 14, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was born July 26, 1946 in Beckley, W. VA. to Donald and Rheda Faye (nee Bennett) Meador. Jane loved to read, do crossword puzzles and loved her husband and family. She was a giver of self. Jane is survived by her loving husband Frank. Also surviving are loving siblings David (Brenda) Meador of LaGrange, Jesse (Brenda) Meador of LaGrange, Judy (Rex) Elliott of Royal Palm Beach, Fl, Steve (Lisa) Meador of Hinckley; nieces and nephews Liann Hartman, Nicole Hepler, McKenna, Alivia and Cole Meador, David Elliott of Royal Palm Beach, Jamie (Eric) Sane of N.C. and great niece Julianna Sane of N.C., Meghan Meador, Caitlin Hepler and brother-in-law Greg Debro. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sue Debro and maternal grandparents Jesse and Nora Bennett from the Abraham District, W.
