LAURA M. TRUSNIK

Laura M. Trusnik (nee Lorig), age 58, of Hinckley Twp. Medina, went home to meet her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 11, 2015. Laura was a generous, fun-loving, compassionate and kind person, with a smile that reflected all of her wonderful traits. She loved all, was always positive and helped those around her to be the same.

Laura leaves behind her husband Bob, who cared for her with strong and loving arms throughout her illness; her loving father Jim Lorig (Charlene); one and only brother Dan Lorig; and her sisters and best friends, Marie Mayes (Steve), Denise Miglich (Mark), Kathleen Collins (Scott), Renee Higgins (Mark), and Amy Funfgeld (Mark); mother-in-law JoAnne Trusnik; sister-in-law Lynn; brothers-in-law Tom (Sharon), Ken (Amy), and Dennis (Barb). She also leaves many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her like a mother; her work family, especially Dick Marcellino who was very important to her; and her spoiled dogs Cracker and Jack. She was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Lorig; nephew Nicholas Funfgeld; and father-in-law Art Trusnik.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Rt. 18 and River Styx Road), Medina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 11am at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio (meet at church). Burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 900 Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio.

Family suggests contributions be made to the American Lung Cancer Society.
